What up SBFT!!!

I have been trolling this site on and off for a couple years. It has some great info that has really helped move my 55-F100 5.0 restomod along. That build is why I joined this forum. Think I am going to be needing some more detailed help here in the near future.

I'll start my thread in the projects section and see where we go from there.

Peace out and wrench on!

Ugly?  Easy now -- that's my baby and it's got lots of unique character!  When I drop that built 445" stroker in it you won't have any time to "pull over to let me pass" because I'll have already blown past you when you figure out what the hell was that loud noise behind you . . .

Hello, I made my first post in the grassroots cam section BEFORE I read the "new members read here section"...doh! So my first post included some of the stuff you actually warn new members not to do...ugh. My apologies.

Anyway, I'm Rob from Clearwater, Fl, I have been driving a Fox or new edge of some sorts for 14 of the last 20 years  and currently working on a fox now. I signed up to sbftech a few years back but only came in a couple times because I was already reading through threads that Woody was commenting on in another site and was content with the knowledge I was getting.

Now, I'm elbows deep in a project that has really become way over my head and budget so I figured  it was time to spend some quality time on Woody's own site so I can get to  reading real engine building examples and not just some crap that someone once read in a magazine. After reading through just a few threads, I've realized how out of it I have been. Never really modded Mustangs (mainly because they were my only car at the time) other than simple bolt ons so I am here to learn and absorb.

Thank you for your time and thank you for a great site.

Welcome Rob.... don't forget to add your location info to your profile.

I noticed in your first post that you need access to some info that is only available to members with 10 posts or more. Anyway, and since this is the Season, you do not have to wait to post 8 additional times, you now have access to all the sections.

Hello, I am Jim from Fort Wayne, IN.  I am working on getting my 1970 Boss 302 back on the road.  I have the #'s matching block and don't want to hurt it.  Going to put together a 3.25" stroke Dart block with my Boss heads.  Was thinking about running E85.  FordStrokers isn't far from me, so I will probably head there for my work.
