I am piecing togather a 92 351 for my 66 f100,since I am converting it to a carb I picked up all the need parts from a 70 351 and in the box was a stock 70 cam. Would there be any improvement in performance by using the 70 cam.

Actually, I believe that the 88-93/94 flat tappet cams were the same as the earlier 351 HOs. From what I've read, its one of the better factory flat tappet cams.

70 cam has rust pits on a few lobes so its junk and will leave the cam in it,it its the same as the HO cam I do have another that is brand new that I will have to put in another 351 I have that the builder stuck in a cam with a 320 firing order.
