I am currently running a set of lunati link bars (hydraulic roller) and comp pro magnum chromoly roller rockers (full roller) in a 1.6 flavor. when I originally measured for pushrods, I came up with a 7.800 length and it had a nice tight sweep pattern (I forget now, but I wanna say it was like .035) and it was pretty centered on the valve.

I have since played with preload on my lifters to get them to shut up. They are pretty noisy. The problem is now my sweep is about .060, but is still nice and centered on the stem.

Should I look at getting new pushrods? or is a tad larger sweep gonna work?

Also, oil only kinda drools out of the rockers at idle, with the old stamped ones it flowed right out of em. Is this common? or do I need to chamfer the lifters for better oiling?

Chamfering lifters is usually a solid lifter thing.  I have never seen anyone do that with a hydraulic lifter. 

I personally wouldn't worry about the .060 sweep width - so long as everything is quiet and you don't see any irregularities otherwise.

If everything is quiet, and is oily - I probably wouldn't worry about the oil getting up top.

Don't JUST look at sweep and position...  The rocker should be fairly square at mid-lift.  If it's tip or ass is way up in the air at mid-lift, it's out of whack.

If everything is fairly square at mid-lift, and you have less than 0.080" sweep, it should be fine.
