hoping to fire up the freshly built 5.8 for the first time next week...

i ditched the air pump, PS, and using the factory AC-delete pulley. when i route a string i get a measurement of 80" -- how much shorter should it be to allow for tensioner to work properly?

thanks in advance.

I measure with the tensioner locked into the loosest place. I also use wire instead of string, because its much harder to stretch.

Doing more with less, or something like that.

You might need some Titanium rods and a flow bench!  LMAO on floor

I'm sweating, my heart is racing, my clutch foot is twichin', and my right arm punched the computer screen doing an involentary 2-3 shift while reading all that.
