What/where is causes whine?  Converter (new about 6/8 passes ago), PA Comp trans w/brake.  347/500 hp leaving at 4,000 shifting at 6,000 ?? passes.

I'm thinking trans pump gears and there is oil puking out of overflow vent, top of tailhousing.

This is on a friend's car, I have Never had a puking problem on our C4's, ever.  I have fittings screwed into tailhousing with 1/4" black plastic tubing pointed down, soon will get a catch can.

When I get my trans back together I will probably take this one apart, upgrading to 6 pk clutches.

The pump sounds like the most likely thing.

If the pump is cavitating or leaking, it may be aerating the fluid. This would explain the overflow.

Doing more with less, or something like that.

Bottom line, if it was the hot ticket, the fast guys would do it.............they don't

You might need some Titanium rods and a flow bench!  LMAO on floor

I honestly don't get it.

I'm sweating, my heart is racing, my clutch foot is twichin', and my right arm punched the computer screen doing an involentary 2-3 shift while reading all that.
