I have a 351 windsor in a 69 fastback mustang. I'm getting things setup for a centri blower for it. I'm planning to run 10 lbs if not less of boost with me running 10.72 to 1 compression ratio. My question is that I have a 4150 holley double pumper 750 cfm and wanted to know if I could convert it to blow through and not have any issues with running the low boost? I've been doing some research on it and it seemed like a not hard process to do, BUT, I want this engine to be safe and not worry about blowing it up all because the carb. I've read on another forum that doing it yourself is not smart with a high boosting engine but not so badly on low boost applications. I just wanted to see what you guys have to say that have experience with maybe doing it this way.

If it were me, I'd probably just have C&S build it for me. They have a excellent reputation with blow through carbs.

Bottom line, if it was the hot ticket, the fast guys would do it.............they don't

You might need some Titanium rods and a flow bench!  LMAO on floor

I honestly don't get it.

I'm sweating, my heart is racing, my clutch foot is twichin', and my right arm punched the computer screen doing an involentary 2-3 shift while reading all that.

That's definitely the company I'll be going to if there's more opinions to just buy a blow through for sure I've heard so many good things about them. The way I figured it was that I already have a great flowing carb, if there's a way to do it myself to make it blow through then why not just do that but if it's not going to be very reliable at all then I'll just end up buying a blow through. Just hate forking out so much money on a carb

You could also send your unit to Patrick at Pro-Systems and have it done for you for a fraction of the cost.

Yea that's true but if I can do it myself and it be reliable then it would only cost me maybe 200 tops to do it. So I guess question is doing it myself going by this websitehttp://www.hangar18fabrication.com/blowthru.html would it be reliable it running the low boost?
