Despite the screen name I am not THAT old but I generally avoid social media and the like...Subsequently I am not hip to the new fangled tech of posting pictures online.  I attempted to upload pictures of my car to my profile from my computer and all I get is the red x of death Huh?  I believe I have read on here that you have to upload to something like photobucket first.  Is that correct? :question

You should be able to simply upload it under your profile.  Just make sure the photo you are choosing is already small (if you want something thats big try opening it in paint and shrinking it first).
