Why not a glide ? Asking cause I run a c6 and everyone says I need a glide .

It sucks to get old but at least the expectations are lower...
65 mustang coupe, 10.4 compression 306, home ported 180 cc Chinese heads, funnel web, Lunati Voodoo Solid flat cam, t5z, 8 inch with 4.62 gears in a locker.

Stock gear set yes
I went with a three speed because I and my wife who is not licensed, still like to race it on the motor yet. And my thinking anyway, was with the gears to run 150+ and a tight nitrous converter already, it would b a huge dog on the motor with a 2 speed. If it was a dedicated nitrous race car I probably would have went with the glide.

The 3 speed is the correct in my opinion. With the all the T400 gears sets available(2.10, 1.97, 1.84, 1.66, 1.60 and many more in between) there is not many reasons to use a glide in my opinion.
