I have a cam from a XXX 5.0 block. The only stampings anywhere are on the end and read 1F3 or lF3. Could anyone identify if it is a GT or Explorer cam?

So after measuring the lobes, they are all .278 lift indicating a H.O. roller. I have heard that rollers can be reused, is that true, and if so must new roller lifters be used?

No, new lifters are not needed. With roller stuff, you can pretty much mix and match new with old on everything. But new lifters are pretty cheap depending on the application.

Thanks Joe. I thought I would use new lifters even if the cam was reusable.

If the rollers are good, they'll be fine, if you've absolutely got to burn up that $130 or whatever the new FMS rollers are going for then get them.
