Juice you fucker I saw this last night and didn't post it. Damn funny

Ever since Rodney did that a couple years ago, I've had it saved on YouTube.  I watch it when I need something to laugh at. Its where the silicate water came from.

I use the frame connectors to weigh my car down in the middle, to help keep it on the ground. But man, before that.........

They are also a good place to put the jack.

Remind me to fly Rodney out if I ever need to sell a car.  That video made the blue book value of police interceptors go up 50%!

Whats up with the trailer part lol?

My brother-in-law would almost insist I borrow his instead of driving to the track.  Knocked my pride and testosterone down to the point I prefer to trailer it now.  So when he moved, I ran out and spent enough money to do a fairly nice shortblock on a trailer.  Now it sits in my side yard while I kid myself that I'll be going racing once a month.    But don't worry... I'm going to make a new year resolution tonight!!!

Just go Nate! Whats up with the trailer part lol?

I'm a firm believer in using car trailers too. Having completely destroyed a rear end a few years ago, I went and bought my own. Getting a wrecker to take my car home would have sucked, especially since it was around midnight and across state lines. I've also had to haul others cars home for them.

You know, there is one thing that I never understood about people doing the Lightning swaps. Why not swap to the Cobra supercharger and plenum?

They are common enough and would lower the engine profile by several inches. Probably enough to get a semi-normal hood over it.

Won't fit do to a longer intake and bolt pattern.

Okay, I didn't do a lot of research on this. But from what I gather, there was a supercharger change somewhere midways in Lightning production.

From what I read, the 99-01s use the same basic supercharger as the Cobra (only the inlet being different). By the looks of it, the drive assemblys can be swapped between them.

I may be completely off base. With the popularity of aftermarket superchargers on these vehicles, I'm sure that there are enough spares floating around to verify.

Well not only did the van go to the track but i managed to slip up there in super secret..............David had left the super ported lower with me and i decided to bolt it on along with some 30lb inj's and a 80mm pro-m maf...........

Test drive felt promising but my butt dyno has been wrong...on many occasions.............so off to the track we went...............David and Mike trying to figure out how i ended up with a somewhat decent paint car

First pass was a whopper.................7.36@91.95..............corral guys would have a stroke if they saw how big that lower was and how much bottomend it killed ................made a timing bump 7.47@91.56..........went back down 7.37@93.26.............10.69 tripping the inertia switch and a 7.92 missing 2nd .........7.39/.40/.47 and it slowed a little on the last 2...............and the temp gauge jumped...uh-oh......got a little chocolate milk..............drove it home of course

..............and found this............

That was on me..................ALL the head bolts except the first 2 on #1 were "tight" but not in torque spec...........drivers head was good...............dont know what happened, its been so long since i threw it together but i've basically got it all fixed and will get it back up there soon................got another mustang project i'm getting back on the road after 4 years sitting idle
