Recently installed aussie heads on my 1975 400. Experiencing overheating at highway speeds. No detonation, new radiator new high flow pump and thermostat. No combustion gas in coolant. Mild cam, 4bbl carb. Witness tabs on headgaskets visible. How can I correct this problem? Thanks, brobi

Tested new thermostat prior to installing. Timing was scoped to check "spot on".
Next step is to install carb jets to richen up mix.

You could also remove the thermostat and test if the condition continues. LUK
