well Matt posted the first rule of sloppy mechanics is tell everybody lol
then it went from like 1500 to 6500 members. this brought along a bunch of idiots
then someone got into a pissing match with him so he used his admin powers and banned them
then he changes the rule to never tell anyone about sloppy mechanics
he turned the page settings up to super secret
in the meantime Matt is making a sloppy wiki page with all the most talked about topics
well hes trying to link the wiki stuff back to the FB page but he cant with all the security jacked up to top secret. apparently it needs to be below 250 members to turn it back down
so he made a new page and banned 6000 people from the old one
Matt is a really good dude from what I can tell but his knowledge is more about electronics than it really is about engines. He doesnt understand there are many ways to skin a cat. alot of these guys in general dont know anything about how to make power without boost. there were alot of clowns over there but also alot of business owners and knowledgable people as well

kind of a combination of egos and attitudes. lots of new admins with big heads. some guys think that because they boost a junkyard engine now they are reher-morrison or shafiroff lol

alll in all its a good page. probably my favorite place now days. all the ford forums seem to be dying off or flooded with newbies that dont have any clue but preach all day about shorty headers and cold air kits. the bullet still rocks but thats a different crowd all together

time for question/answer overload.

i have a ton of questions since this is my first rodeo.

up pipe thickness and ID... 2in and 16ga sufficient?
downpipe thickness, 16ga or go thinner?
oil drain location, front or rear of pan?
how much drop is needed?
can the oil drain in the turbo housing be at an angle or does it need to be 90* to the ground?
do i need MLS header gaskets?
how far away do i put the WB and 02's in the DP from the turbine housing?

im trying to position the turbo to minimize bends, relocate as little as possible, and still be easy to get apart if i need to replace something.

all i can think of for now.

The only one I can answer is you want your turbo oil drain as straight up and down as you can. Curious to learn the rest myself.

here is what i have found,
exhaust pipe goes by OD, 2.5 is what im going with. 16ga.
i have some diesel exhaust pipe for the downpipe.
oil drain in the middle. rear on accel gets oil splash, front gets it on braking.
no exact drop measurement, more then better. no dips in the line and larger the better. my kit came with 10AN
they use copper RTV for gaskets.
the closer to the turbine the sensors are placed the richer it reads. im going to put them 1 to 2ft away, just to keep some extra heat out of the sensors.
