The grandson will be 5 this summer.  It's time to start gathering the goodies to build his car...

Ford, Lincoln, Merc;
TBird, LTD, Crown Vic, Maverick, 'Stang, Elite, Granada, whatever.
Perfer a coupe, but what the hell - a 4-door will work too.
Leaf OR Coil car - a leaf would be a new challange - so I'm leaning that way...

Should be a POS in need of vasts amounts of work to make it drivable - dirt cheap wouldn't hurt either.  Keep in mind that I'll be cutting the body off (to install cage) and gutting in & around the rear wheel wells

Will also need
351W in need of a rebuild.
3-speed toploader - prefer 8 bolt to bellhousing.
157 tooth flywheel with lots of meat left (for lightening).

If you see a deal please let me know and (if possible) send me a phone number.  I'd like to keep my search as local as possible - say, within 4 or 5 hours of Memphis...

"Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

This is why structural engineers need to stay the fuck away from anything mechanical.   Furlongs per fortnight & other such nonsense mxracer652
