Work & family commitments have allowed me to pull 5 times in the past 2 years – It’s time to let “Ursula” go.  She’s Race-Ready; right now-today!

1980 Ford Thunderbird Factory Stock.  Built to NEA (Harrisburg, AR) rules but can run in a Factory, Pure or Cruiser Class (2-people) by simply adding a second throttle pedal and verifying track rules on tire size.

Stands out in a crowd: Present body comprised of 1981 Thunderbird & Ford Fairmount body, nose & bumpers.

Safer than required by any tracks rules: Stock firewall & floor pan.  Full cage including both doors.  Window bars across full windshield area.  Driver’s seat in stock location with 5-point harness & seat cover.  Passenger seat with 5-point harness & quick-release mini-steering wheel for hanging onto.   Both seats mounted to the cage.  Full gauge package including 5” tach with adjustable shift light.  Oil Pressure, Water Temp and Oil Temp (in tranny) also have warning lights.  Ignition “On” light in front of passenger seat.

Old School Ford with some modern upgrades: 351W  ’71 Block, ’72 Heads, ’73 Intake.  High-torque mini starter.  Long tube headers – 3” collectors with turndowns.  Comp Cams 1.6 “stock stamped” rockers.  3/8” Screw-in rocker studs.  Guide plates.  MSD Blaster coil.  Pertronix II module in distributor with distributor re-curve kit that brings in full advance by 2k rpm.  Very healthy 302 camshaft (interchangeable with early 351W – just different firing order) with plenty of lope and upper-end torque.

The best of the best: Holly 4412 500 CFM carburetor with 50cc accelerator pump & 76 jets installed.  1” phenolic carb spacer.  Opposing dual springs throttle return.  Stock throttle pedal.  9” wide x 6” tall K&N air cleaner.  Extra carb refresh parts including jet(s) kit from 70 to 80, extra accelerator cams, gaskets, plugs & air horn seal.

Runs cool in the heat: KRC Serpentine Belt system with under-drive crank pulley pulling water pump and power steering.  Power steering cooler.  Huge AFCO radiator.  No thermostat.  Air dam channeling all front-end air into the radiator and 5% antifreeze + water-wetter mixture has ensured motor has never been above 190 degrees.

Ultra durable: ’75 3-Speed Toploader tranny with explosion-proof bellhousing.  Double racing shifters.  164 tooth flywheel.  ZOOM clutch.  1.92 second gear.  59” driveshaft with double cardan on trailing end.  8.8 rear end & 3.55 gears.  Final drive ratio of 6.82.  Drive shaft loop.  Aftermarket slave & master cylinder.

Wide stance: Outside edges of tires are 79.5” wide in the rear and 76” up front.  Last scaled at 55% rear – 53% left.  Stock front springs.  Rear 225lbs & 250lbs.  5/8” studs with 1” lug nuts. Rear sway bar NOT installed; but included in sale.

12 gallon fuel cell & 10x2” fuel filter all plumbed with ˝” racing fuel line.  Fuel line insulated around engine.  Duralast 1000cca deep-cycle marine battery.  Quick-Steer & quick-release steering wheel.  New driver’s window net.  Rods for passenger side net included.

(X2) 10” R/R Bead-locks & (x4) ready spares.  Additional  11” rim and 10” tire (neither mounted).  (X2) racing suits: 2-piece, single layer large and 2-piece, triple layer medium.  RCI helmet.  Pyrotech racing shoes (size 10) & Ultrashield neck brace.

Will consider a Jon Boat, 20hp+ motor AND trailer PLUS cash.  Amount depends on the boat & motor (which will be tested).

Any check(s) must clear the bank BEFORE the car moves.  No trailer involved with sale - bring your own.  See car footprint details above.

Asking: $3,200.00
