Gusts of 40MPH, 2.13" inches of rain in about 45 minutes, us 3 knuckleheads stood there the whole time holding onto Michael's sunshade so it wouldn't blow away. WHen he first set it up, it was kind of breezy so we tied my street tires to it to act as anchors, but about the time we saw the wall of rain coming at us was when it started to blow away in spite of the extra weight on it.
The other people there had enough sense to stay in their car or trailer, or get up under the awning at the food shack, when it started raining, but with the wind blowing like it was most of them still got wet.
Driving the 2 hours home with soaking wet clothes was too much fun.
