I like the fact nothing is bulging out and looks out of place.
I'll do this when budget permits.
I still have to find a place for the amp however.

Ugly? Easy now -- that's my baby and it's got lots of unique character! When I drop that built 445" stroker in it you won't have any time to "pull over to let me pass" because I'll have already blown past you when you figure out what the hell was that loud noise behind you . . .

Back to life...
Anyone experience JL Audio's C5-525 or -650?
Been looking at these to put in all 4 corners of my f150.
Or I can just go with trusted Kappa series.
I'm listening to any/all input here, this is a one time install... wanna be close or near close on the first install.

If you go with the 6.5s, you will have a seriously modify the front doors. In the long run, its a good option but will require a good amount of work. The 5.25s can be used with a simple adapter plate if you wanted. Some have noticed the factory door speaker mount rattling. While I can hear some noises in my interior, the small back glass is the only one that I can say for sure.
IMO, there is no reason to install components in the rear doors. They only provide some rear fill. My rear door speakers are only played from the radios internal amp at maybe 50% power. Anymore and it just sounds weird.
You can't go wrong with JL or Infinity. I've used both and was extremely happy with them.
I wouldn't use the base Rockfords again. They just haven't held up well with my music types and hard playing.

You might need some Titanium rods and a flow bench!
