How about some updates and pictures!  I'm interested in fuel infecting my '77. How's your mileage?

400 4v heads in 4wd application! Runs great! Doesn't lug down like a smaller port engine would. 2200rpm is about as low as you can go with a load! Will be doing another cam soon. Mpg heads Scott will cut can for me. I went to conservative on first cam! Runs well but can get some lift according to Scott! Shoulda listen to Scott first time! Fast 2.0 works well! 4v heads and fuel mileage don't go in same sentence! 8 to 10mpg! The truck hauls azz! 4.10 and 33" tire, 140mph is not a problem in this ole crew! Will go faster but have some steering issues that will be corrected next weekend with AGR performance hyd steering assist and upgraded steering box and new hi flow pump, Saginaw. Fast 2.0 this truck seems to like around 12.0 wide open throttle to 12.2 with air fuel ratio. Have a 5speed zf behind 400. Will be going to 35" tire with 4.10. Soon! The truck is driven often and worked! Enjoy driving and all the thumbs up from fellow truck guys! Been to Oklahoma , Texas twice now! Was in Gainesville tx couple weeks ago at AGR performance!

Love it!  Post some pictures when you have a chance so I can convince the wife the Mustang needs to be towed to the track by a period correct truck instead of our dirtymax chebby.

Good to hear, strong running old Fords. I've got to(want to) work on my old 72/73 Ranchero again.

BTW, how much do they want for those AGR PS boxes now? I have one that I bought built with quick ratio, the good NASCAR Saginaw boxes. I stuck it in my truck but never got to use it. Now I'm planning to chop the front frame to put in an 03-06 Crown Vic frame/suspension. I could sell that Saginaw box at a some point.
