Finally shortened the rearend and put 9 inch ends, 35 spline axles, Strange brakes and 12 inch wheels with 5 inch backspace so I could get that deep dish look on the Falcon.

Looks perfect Bam. I'm curious what do you think of the lightweight strange rear brake package?

Well after 687 passes it finally time for a rebuild. I got a head gasket and burnt a piston. Plan on going back with a little shorter rod so I can get a little more durable piston and boring it to 4.155.

I've been telling people for a while that I don't like the 1.09 pistons with nitrous. Depending on the ring package and piston design, there just isn't a lot of room left. I'm actually a fan of the 3.25 crank with the 5.315 rods. It allows for a 1.25 pin height, so that a more robust piston can be built.
And while I think that the 4032 pistons that you were running before have their merits, I believe that you'd be better off with a 2618 piston.

You might need some Titanium rods and a flow bench!

Bam might just need a nitrous specific piston. Sure been happy with my Ross.

I know people do it all the time. And its probably okay well into the 250-300 area. But I don't think that a 1.09 piston leaves enough room for a dedicated nitrous build.
I'm not saying that it can't be done, and I'm not saying that it won't live. Just that a more robust piston is a good idea if he plans on pushing it, and it looks like he is leaning in the same direction.

As of right now my plan is a 5.335 Molinar rod with a CP 4.155 piston 2618 alloy with a 1.165 compression Ht. Should make the piston a little stronger then what I had. What do you guy's think?

I think its 0.075" more available space than you had before. I'm sure that CP knows how to take advantage of the available space.
Using 1.2mm rings would allow more room for the top ring land, while still being able to withstand the heat. If feasible, I think that a standard tension 3/16 oil ring would provide better oil control and reduce the chance of detonation (caused by oil contamination).

Not arguing with Juiced. I had same idea but my engine builder works with Ross when he talked to them they advised they had a piston that worked with a 5.4 rod. So that’s what we used. But is a Nitrous piston. Tried to post a picture but would not go through.
