Hey guy ..Grslms..no prob running 9.58 comp set my timing to 30 full advance have a 750 mech secondaries demon  running little too rich the way its jetted..96 or 98 jets i think  have been thinking of even going bigger carb and jetting to AF ratio have heard i think thru this site that a bigger carb will let you pull more boost changed pulley but also changed cam to a 268 comp cam did have a 270 comp but the overlap is better for a blower with the 268 ...but had 7 lbs boost with the 270 changed pully and cam still at 7 lbs....the kit will have eveything you need make sure you tell them what year motor and balancer it has stuff in kit to even out it on later 5.0 ltr motors..will add you on as friend and can give a little more info without going any longer here not sure how much i am allowed to gab ...the little woody runs like a animal with this setup and sounds great...best so far 11.7 for a car that drives everywhere including the 300kms one way to the track and back fuel can be a little rough and you have to rum good fuel we can get 94 oct right at the pump hope its aval..near you have run 92 going to the track just dont stuff your foot in it with that fuel lol..Rock

Remember to check heads thats how i ended up going blower got a set of rpm 202 valves edelbr heads an chamber is bigger than stock ford  289 302...so thats where it started comp went from 10 to 1 to 9.58 had to have my pistons re notched for clearance..also forgot to say went with a forged crank and dont forget the girdle money well spent ...better bang for the buck in my eyes is ...go with blower carb girdle cam... as long as you set the timing back you can get away with just a msd or comparable box as long as it has a rev limiter..lol made that mistake didnt have one when car was a 4 speed ...hate to say it but you know that one time when EVERYONE misses a gear...well boom,,,C4 now and a better box maybe should have gone with the one that pulls out timing but up here there almost as much money as my crank was with 92 i am sure 28 would work 30 is good with 94 fuel going to try 32 34 this year at the track with some of there good fuel...crap 100 bucks for 5 gallons...must be nice to be south Good Luck!

hey Jayh if i was to take more timing out what would you do to compesate..have a few things changing this year against some ...but going to try ...going with dougs headers.as said before and  a magna flow 2 into 1 ...it comes two 2.5 to 3 than a flowtech cutout than 3 inch pipe to the back running a 3 inch dna at the back bumper putting a wideband AF at the end of one of my headers and try to tune down the ratio as said running sick rich so hope to gain a little by getting leaner have heard 11.5 is cool at wot ...lots on both sides of the camp saying one 3 isnt enough and others swearing by it will see at dyno i guess or track let me know what you think would love to see a post here on guys who have gone single and duel ...last checked was just shy of 400 rwhp 397 was the number i believe dont have sheets in front of me but that was with shorty hedmans and a real poor bent 2.5 an flowmaster 40s hope that mandrel bent 2.5 to the y and mandrel bent 3s make the diff up and will be much more peace with next doors houses and the law

my opinion is single 3 is not enough. single 3.5 will work with what you are doing(essentially dual 2.5) prefer single 4" especially with power adder

Hey, all, I haven't been here in a looong time, but possibly I can offer some insight into these blowers....   Although I am running E85 in mine, so I don't have any detonation problems or the heat.  In fact it cools the intake charge so well that the blower actually sweats when it is warm out.  Mine is 8 psi, and I have approx. 9:1 comp.  I also have my timing locked @ 26 I believe because I don't have a retard.

I would be more than happy to help if I can.
