Theres a guy close to me about to sell the rear end out of his 86 svo.
they are a 7.5" rear with 5 lug disc.

Will the axles and disc and brackets all swap to my 8.8 rear?

Yes but the width will be extended by 1-1/2 " per side.

There is a chart at the bottom of the page here  http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?3664-Help!-7.5-quot-Axle-to-8.8-quot-Trouble!/page6  you may find useful in future swaps as well.

Thaks!  Looks like i will probably skip on the rear,  If it was going to be a direct axle and disc swap i would probably do it,  looks like i would need different 5 lug axles to make it work and have same track width.   and if i was going to buy axles i would get 31 splines and a new locker wich turns into too much money rite now.
