GOAL: 10.0 n/a 8.80 on a 200 shot

RPM: 8000

BLOCK: DART IRON EAGLE

ROTATING ASSYMBOLY:
Eagle forged crank
Diamond dome pistons for t/w head
scat forged H beam rods
total seal rings
king bearings
Romac 28oz balencer
TCI flexplate

HEADS: TFS 170 t/w heads
chromoly sleeved pushrod holes, ported to sleeves.
exhaust ported to header plates.
int 338 cfm exh 268 cfm
heavy springs 700lbs open
titanium retainers
longer 2.08 itake valves 1.6 exhaust valves

ROCKERS: JESEL shaft mount rockers for t/w heads

CAM: SCHNYDER  int lift .807 exh 765 DUR int 302 exh 316 110 lsa

INTAKE: Victor JR.

EXHAUST: KOOKS 1 7/8" long tubes

TRANSMISSION: C4 transbreak,manual valve body, all the goodies.

CONVERTER: HUGHS 8" (stall unknown yet 5500+)
























here are some pics of the cage getting done today it will be ready tomorrow ill take more pics. this guy can weld like a mad man, he builds off road race trucks from the ground up for the lucus races.

if anyone is ever thinking about having a cage put in do yourself a huge favor and buy one pre bent and jig notched from wolfe racecraft.. top notch.

mine is chromoly and it doesnt weigh shit...

nice build..how soon till its running?

how come not a super vic for the intake,,u definetely have the cubes/heads  for it...

also what carb? size?

Nothing but problems with my wolfe pre bent cage....  I will have only custom ones done from now on......

there is 2 holes in the back that have been tapered and one in the front. there will be no oil problems.

super victor with the carb wont clear the hood, the jr has beem worked to meet the air demand.

i have 14 days to get it to the track.

the carb is a prosystems 1000 i bought from fast88 on here along with the headers.. i was gonna sent the carb in to get reworked but prosystems looked at the specs of the carb and my build and told me to try it out as is.

yes you did. between that and no titanium valves is the reason i am not spinning higher then 8000.

i have the block to keep the caps stable and the balencer and the flexplate were on the crank when it was balenced to be as accurate as can be.

really?? thats odd you are the first person i have ever herd that from.. did you get it jig notched from them too? this thing was asome the guy that put it in builds trucks and has never worked with someone elses pre bent cage before and he said it was damn near flawless. the only issue was i had my own subframes so he had to modify the subframe down bars a little but it was no big deal..

Yeah it was jig notched and pre bent.....  we actually re-made a few bars because we didnt like the way it fit....   If you ever mini tub yours hit me up, your going to have to modify it some more  Whistling

as i thought that they couldnt be ported as much as the track heats as the passages for the smog crap... Hmmmmm

they are first gen t/w heads i believe they do have smog bs in them but it didnt prevent any porting.
