Ugly?  Easy now -- that's my baby and it's got lots of unique character!  When I drop that built 445" stroker in it you won't have any time to "pull over to let me pass" because I'll have already blown past you when you figure out what the hell was that loud noise behind you . . .

Thanks Dana!  My focus for the near future will be getting the tune buttoned up and getting back to the track.   Still have to get around to do the line lock and two step.  We donít have too much downtime down here in Texas.   Tubular K member offers the most weight savings when I get to that point.

Lots of places to remove weight.

Its a long thread, but worth checking out:

http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=307249&highlight=mustang+weight

Remember, a few pounds here and there add up. Its part of the reason that my car is lighter than most, even with the factory k member, a arms, power windows, full dash, and stock seats. Little things add up.

Bottom line, if it was the hot ticket, the fast guys would do it.............they don't

You might need some Titanium rods and a flow bench!  LMAO on floor

I honestly don't get it.

I'm sweating, my heart is racing, my clutch foot is twichin', and my right arm punched the computer screen doing an involentary 2-3 shift while reading all that.

Yeah I know, thanks for the link.  Most of that stuff compromises safety or comfort, and Iím not willing to do that anymore.  There were a few things I hadnít thought of, like the steering column.  Iíll have to check that out.

Christmas has come a little early.   Grin

Moates replaced my QH with a newer one for free! (full story here)

F3v2 Ford Memory Adapter ("chip" to hold tunes)
Jaybird J3 Module Reader/Programmer (for reading/loading tunes onto the chip)
F3v2/F8/QH Rotary Switch (which will allow me to select between 8 different tunes on the fly)

Now I need to find some time to prep the car for the A9L2 tune, go for a drive, and take some logs.

Yeah he did.  I feel lucky to have him and his forum as a resource.  Plus all the free stuff he provides.

Iím still chipping away at this thing.  Tried to go for a short cruise and didnít make it far.

Popped like a balloon.  Luckily at very low speed.  I may have slightly over inflated those, but Iím still surprised.  Old tires were Kumho Power Star 758, 118mph speed rating

Found some good radial skinnies made in Holland.  Vredestein Sprint Classic 165HR15, 130mph speed rating, and 51psi max.  It was either those or MT Sportsman S/R, which are $70 more per tire and have a max psi of 35.

I finally got my Innovate MTX-L wideband installed!  It was so easy, I should have done it sooner.  I opted to temporarily put it in the radio delete insert since the existing wiring there had everything I needed.

Turned off driver¬ís side HEGO.  WB IS also tied into pin 27 (EVP) so I can data log Lambda through my QuarterHorse.
