my buddy has a 93 supercoupe, well the tranny is bad. he was wondering if it would be possible to put a v8 tranny behind his supercharged 3.8v6. he found a tranny its out of a 89 5.0 mercury marquis. its a aod. i have been told it will work but i dont know for sure, and i dont wanna give him the wrong advice. i thought someone on here might be able to help me out. thanks

SC uses an A servo in the AOD, and the shifter linkage is slightly different than other AOD applications, but it is easily changed out by dropping the pan.  Other than that, you just need to make sure the tailshaft is the same length.
