Ian car is far from stock

Exactly -- if the car we are talking about does 9's!  But I would have ASSumed that he has a 9" rear in that . . .

......uuuuhhhhh.....the car in question DOES run 9's.

And you dont need a 9" to run 9's there skippy Grin

How do you know?  Shocked

Yessir -- I figured from his signature.  I don't know from experience but I'd guess that 9's in the quarter is needing a healthy launch?  Sure don't want anything to break . . .

From what I've read/heard the 8.8 is pretty stout with a few mods done to it.

Man, this thread went to hell! LOL

I got the rear back in the car. It sure was faster taking it out!

I have to bleed the brakes, put the tires on, put some gear oil in it and I'm done! The TeamZ stuff worked out great with a little modification.

Yes it's an 8.8, yes it runs 9s, no it doesn't 60ft to save it's life. That's what I'm working on!

I sure hope the pinion angle works out ok, I'll see when I drop it down tomorrow.

I'll get some pics shortly. Next outing is Saturday. 3 full nitrous bottles, 10 gallons of 116, it better go sub 9.50s or I'm going to have a great bonfire!

Don't mind Joe, he's scare of anything over 325rwhp.

I found a solution, I'm going to pour the 10 gallons of race fuel I have over the car and light it on fire.

I got the clearance issue sorted and set the pinion angle.

Would you try to move this wheel forward? Both are in the same position and are squared.

I'm thinking I should move it forward a bit, but wanted to check with the experts. This is quite the project I took on.
