Well after some passes this year on the old 395 I have decided to up grade my build I came across some money owed to me so I will spend it nicely.Items I have listed all ready have been purscased and are in my hand except for the cam.Build will consist of a NEW DART BLOCK 4.125 bore 9.470 deck making , Scat 3.85 stroke crank with 2.749 mains and 2.090 rods journals, Scat 6.250 H-beam rods with arp2000 rod bolt up grade, JE 4.125 pistons flat top w/1.280C/P yeilding 13.7:1 making it 411C.I, Canfield heads ported w/shaft rockers and PAC springs titiuam retainers , Dan Rawls "NMRA Rengade champion" custom solid roller Whistling, 3/8 push rods 1 piece, Prosystems 1000cfm carb, 2in primary Kooks headers with 4 inch exhaust, C-4 with a 8inch stall 6100rpm, 4:56 gears with 28/10.5x15 M/T slicks, I plan on shifting the the engine at 8300 RPM and crossing at 8800rpm.I will post pictures as the build takes place I plan on haveing the car back at the track by middle October for some test runs before the snow hits.My goal is to run 9.40s on motor and 8.8s on the jug 300plus hit.If things work out right the car will be sent to Dave this winter for a new cage and some upgrades possible small tire 8.5 outlaw car  Whistling Whistling I will add info as it comes the motor will be assemblied by one of my friends at Roush who is one of there engine builders includeding the machine work witch is priceless.

Far as I am concern untill you drive a car faster the 11.5 @115 and actully go racing like I do ever week and actully run your car hard then you can speak untill then don't preach what you have not yet done.Also last time I checked your trans is still on the ground collecting dust LOL .

Matt my good friend uses Joels on Joy and he was running a C4, when he talked to Joel about going into the 8's on spray he built him a Glide....

Mark Joel did mention that to me but for my acciplation this was his professinal opion the trans was dynoed to 850HP with no issues.
