Just a few pictures of my build in progress.
The entire progress is layed out with pictures on Jason's (vristang) seattleblueovals website which is my local Ford forum.

Ugly?  Easy now -- that's my baby and it's got lots of unique character!  When I drop that built 445" stroker in it you won't have any time to "pull over to let me pass" because I'll have already blown past you when you figure out what the hell was that loud noise behind you . . .

Hammy!
It's just a Jim and Jay powered 347ci SBF, carbed, oe block to be shifted @ 7000rpm for now.
Shooting for 2750# race weight.

I'm using TeamZ stuff for my suspension, and doing my own chassis work wherever I "think" needs fixiing.
This is my first Mustang, and my first RR project so it's a lot of fun so far.
Right now I have almost everything to put this car together mechanically...  I just need to address the chassis rigidity issues.

Cobra R 13" brakes up front (i'll probably swap these out with lighter Wilwood stuff soon)
Wilwood 140-2118b ford 9" new style kit on the rear.
Afco/Koni/Strange springs, shocks and stuff

The 12" wheels in the rear didn't fit very well so I cut the frame off and welded my own 2x4" inboard of the original.
I'm not a fan of the tire sticking out past the fender...  I like it tucked inside...  so much cleaner looking...  not to mention passing tech.
Yep, the 8.8" is shortened a total of 3" axle to axle with 9" ends.

There's more but I have to start work... Spt at PC

So far, the only thing which doesn't look like "junk" is the engine Grin
I'm so tired of looking at that "pile" in the shop...  I've got to get this done SOON Cris!
