Rod's taking the summer off, no sense wearing out the car when it'll not match any numbers it puts down during the cooler weather months. I'm sure he'll be back at it once the -ber months come around

Nothing new, we were at the track Friday night but he needs to get some new slicks, average 60 ft is creeping up.

Nope, track has been closed since late November, I gather there are some issues with the owner and the persons leasing the track, or something along those lines. That's between them and they are keeping a close hold on what is going on.

Still have ole blue sittin in the warehouse............just got some more 4.56's to put back in it so i can run 26"s on the back and keep things more "cost" effective as i have 3-4 "race" cars and like to at least keep some things interchangeable among them lol............our local 1/8th. miler shutdown and i'm HOPING one thats only 50+ miles one way will maybe opening back-up..........hopefully get a few runs in this season when it cools down.............just a side note, i've got 500+ passes on that stock bottomend and over a hundred in the 6's, he's a tough little sob lol........(knocks on wood)

No............i need one of two things or both really........cubes and rpm to effectively use it...........my combo is just to mild for that intake to outperform what i have/had (systemax/TFS-R currently)............it drove fine and ran fine, just didnt make as much power or i should say torque as the "long" runner intakes and ran a tenth or so off at the track. I think i made 20+ passes with it and it just didnt run the numbers..........i loved the weight, looks and ease of maintenance but i was tip-toeing in out of the 6's and wanted to be there more often than not lol...........best pass was a 7.05? i think with the SV and the mph was off one or two.............7,000 rpm 347? heck ya! but that would need a faceplated trans and a host of other stuff and i'm poor..............not to mention i have car ADD and swap from project to project having 5 mustangs lol.........

High 6's are fast enough for me on my budget but i would like to slip into the 6.7's if we can get a track opened close enough for me to work on the combo steadily.....going once every month or so doesnt cut it for me trying to dial something in (like the driver Hmmmmm)

I'll also say its still sitting on the shelf ready to go in case i ever go that route again..........maybe a standard vic jr
