Intake looks real deep to me. Did you not measure what you had for clearance before you started notching?
on the intake, minus clearance LOL
that intake got cut deeper than it needed to, i left the sandpaper long on the sides after i kept cutting and cutting and wasnt getting what i needed, found where it touched and dremeled it, only to get a couple .001's.
its got .050 as it sits; i need to recheck where it touches and dremel it some more.

it is rather deep; i spent 3hrs today on the freakin piston and im sick and tired of looking at piston notches! lol

226.6 .050 duration, .603 lift, 111.83 ATDC lobe centerline, open @ .050 1.47BTDC, close .050 @ 45.14ABDC
its my 331 cam advanced 4*, someone showed me the lead method to double check the advance.

Luckily the TRW pistons are thick. i have .175 thick at the thinnest point on that intake valve, with .050 PTV.
