  • The video shown above is for demonstration purposes. Keep in mind that are based on current OBD-II systems which require special tools/equipment, and are not required for OBD-I/EEC-IV setups.
  • IAC closed position in EEC-IV is done by disconnecting the IAC.
  • As also mentioned in the video, for non-adjustable TPS sensor setups, like the Ford EEC-IV in V8 engines, you just need to verify its lowest value is within its operating range.
  • The operating range for Ford V8's and the EEC-IV is .6 - 1.1 vdc, if not, the TPS needs to be replaced.
