Title: 90mm accufab too big for my 347
Post by: theYman on May 01, 2017, 09:58:35 pm
347 stroker with trickflow 170 twisted wedge heads ported slighly to match Trick Flow R intake. Custom Jay Allen cam .224/.237 duration @.050 .574/.566 lift w/1.6 rockers. Pro M 80 maf for the 30 lb injectors.
Long tube 1 5/8 headers. 3.73 rear . Astro A5 with 2.95 first gear.
Currently car has a 70mm tb and runs outstanding. However found a deal on 90mm a TB and may try it.
Will it be a mistake?

No, It should allow more air in which is always good

It'll want to accelerate faster, so will require a little more finesse on the throttle. My son has an 86MM SVO on his 331, and that kind of gave him some trouble at first.
