Title: Road race motors make power too. Post by: Richard Bridgette on August 25, 2011, 05:46:52 pm I road race a tube chassis, coil over, composite body Mustang in SCCA GT-1 class. I'm currently building a 331 cu in motor using an 8.7 deck block, 3 in srtoke, 6.2 rods, 4.1875 bore, Yates D3 heads, 266/277 roller cam, 775 lift, that should make 780 hp naturally aspirated. FYI, the engine you are building is a 332, not a 331. Do the math, why do people truncate numbers? The same bad math makes a 347 a 346. All 351's are really 352's. :bang Title: Re: Road race motors make power too. Post by: ochohill on August 25, 2011, 07:16:20 pm Sounds expensive. How long do you expect it to last?
