That happened at Car Craft Nationals the summer before last.  He was on the dyno before me and something was wrong with his setup and he first pulled 585 horse.  I went next and the guys at the dyno were giving me a hard time about my tires.  I let them run it anyway and my dyno sheet is here on the forum.  About a half hour after I finished my pull that Model A was back with a vengence.  On that pull he put down over the limit on the mobile dyno 1200+ just before the straps broke.   

So much for concern about tires, what about the straps I said to the operators.
