Cause I'm bored... Ok take a 4.6 mod, 5.4 navi heads, sullivan intake, whatever carb, custom Jay cams... what kinda power could one expect? I know we don't focus on hp numbers, just curious what a combo like this would do.

How's about the entire Navigator engine?
. Pro Sytems carb
Sullivan intake and Kooks/ AR longtubes.... Some cat, I think he made a brief pass through here one time had a Navigator engine in a 85LX coupe stone stock except for Carb, intake and exhaust.. Shot N2O at it and I believe he was 10's... not real sure on E.T.

compretion ratio is gonna be the big one with the mod motor.

You put it around 10.5 with the navi heads, and a custom cam and the other goodies, I wouldnt be shocked at 400ish if not more to the wheels

I was just wondering. I ran across a low mileage 98 GT... 65K miles, 5speed, needs core support, fellow has all the rest of the parts... asking 2500, it just got me thinking. I think it may be a little high after some looking around.

if its clean inside and out and only needs a core support thats not a bad price, Might find them a little cheaper, but clean and solid starts to be comprimised when you get lower in price.

If I bought one, it would be a convertible. Now, this is a super clean car. Black leather no rips or tears. But I not really in the market, just seeing what they can do.

IMHO The Fun swap for 96'-98's is the Explorer 4.6..can be had for less than a grand, weighs 90lbs less than the factory engine and has the newer P.I. heads..
