Jay can grind a cam, for anything you got. He's done cams for all kinds of makes and models. He once said if the core is available, then he can grind it.
What needs to happen, is you two need to get on the phone, and decide what route needs to be taken. Just like the rest of his customers, we trust the man knows what he is doing, and we know what he builds goes fast. So we let him decide the best course of action. Then sit back and hang on for the ride.

I actually just tried to call him, but got the machine. I just sent him over a build sheet, but much of it is "TBD" until he gets back to me with what can be done to make it work.
As for the ride- I'm prepared for that. Trying to get an 800whp GTO down the track on drag radials and stock rear/suspension that would still spin 3rd pretty good has me ready for anything lol.

Blue, I actually sold it a little while back
. Been missing it ever since, but can't bring myself to mod the CTS-V so that is where the mustang idea came from

What am I missing here lol? I sold the car about a year and a half ago to an older gentleman in VA. I highly doubt any of you here have seen or know of it. I can post some various vids and such that I have if interested. I have a vid from my first dyno tuning session (I did all the tuning, no one else touches my cars) where it did 768 to the wheels. It was a hell of a ride on the street

Your not missing anything, I was just curious. Videos would be cool though.

I thought it was an inside thing between you and gtvert when I saw him post the head scratch smiley. Here is the video of the car's first time on the dyno when I was still getting the tune worked out. I thought I broke it for a second when I hit the rev limiter on one of the pulls (can't miss it lol)
Here is an old dyno video of my twin turbo 05 GTO.
Here is a 4th gear pull while trying to hold the camera on the speedometer and narrate for the buyer lol. Yes, that shake is the wheels breaking loose at ~100-
cruise and 4th gear

Here is a quick 3-4 pull, again with me trying to hold the camera and drive-
3-4 pull high boost
Here is a quick 3rd gear only vid (yes, 109 at the top of 3rd- 4th ended at 164 and it still kept going in 5th and 6th
)-
3rd gear pull

Aftermarket heads are worth every penny because all the OEM heads from ford are pretty much junk for a 351 (even 302s)
But if you were deat set on stock stuff, GT40's would be the way to go, get a cam from jay and good springs. should be worth 12's, then spray it into the 11's....
But that engine with the correct set of aluminum heads will go mid- bottom 11's on motor

That's what I like to hear
. I have come to terms with the fact that the stockers aren't worth the metal they're made from.. I was thinking of just going turbo now and forcing the air through them to stay on a budget, but may as well just do it all now and get it over with.
A friend (who is an actual Ford guy- has a ~1200hp procharged blow through GT) said a good budget head for me would be the Floo Tek pro 5.0 x. I did some googling on them but didn't find a whole hell of a lot on them- just some people saying they are Pro-Comps and others saying they are US castings..

Floo Tek and Pro Comps are junk.
So, have they been proven to be one and the same or not?

Probably not the same, but either one will need a good bit of work done just to get them decent.
