28oz balance to 0 balance and Balancer Question
«

Ok so I originally had a stock block 347 setup with all forged Scat internals " SRP's, H-beams, 4340 Forged crank" I know stupid to use a stock block with Forged internals but I started it when I was 16 and didnt know about the paper thin stock 5.0 blocks, but anyways I had problems with the valvle train in that motor from the start so I tore it down and figured this time around ill get like a sportsman block or something . I hade my motor balanced at 28oz with a Professional Products 28oz balancer and a sfi Scat 28oz flexplate and im woundering if I can have my setup changed to a 0 balance or is that not possible sence i have had the crank drilled and balanced for 28oz? And are the Professional Products balancers any good or should I go with a Fluidamper or something better.
Thanks Ryan

You can balance it to 0 if you have money falling out of your pockets, since it was already drilled for 28oz, you will need to add ALOT of mallory metal to get to 0, leave it alone

There was so much weight removed from that crank going to 28, I can almost guarantee it will take a minimum of 6-8 pieces of mallory to get to neutral. Figure 500-700 dollars minimum. As for the balancer, sure there is better, I dont like fluid dampr but that personal preference. Romac, ATI are what I like best, but they cost a shit ton more than a PP balancer. If this is a sub 7500 rpm motor, leave the 28 alone.

Do you only sell stock 302 based bare blocks or do you sell aftermarket 302 blocks also?

What is your cheapest aftermarket 302 based block you sell, how much is the price, and do you offer complete machining?
