I can't think why, Chevy guys do it all the time. The only thing I can think of is the 4.0/4.1 351W stroker cranks have counter balances setup for 6.2 length rods, I don't know if the 351c stroker cranks do or not, I'm sure Woody would know. I they do have the bigger/longer counter balances then they can be cut and mallory put in them. Which is obvious an extra expense.

Good point, I currently have a 385ci, that is internally balanced, it started out as a Windsor crank. I talked to Callies Crankshaft, and they said only prob. would be 1-2 slugs of mallory metal. Thanks for your reply. Yea hoping Woody can answer Q.

Yes 1-2 slugs is going to be the norm, but it really depends if you are using a windsor based crank. They have internal balance cranks for the windsor, they are 4inch stroke and using a 6.200 rod will balancing internally with nothing more than taking 80-100 grams out of the front and rear counterweight, BUT they have some downsides to them as well

On Scat's website, I'm sure Woody can get one for you. How ever, Scat would not be the first place I've seen advertise something that can't actually supply.

Hey Woody, I have researched the dilema I have in regards to the 4 inch stroke and 6.00 rods, the counterweights are too small, requiring the mallory, but it seems might be 5-6 pieces. What is your experience with this setup, yea Windsor based crank. What is your advice...Thanks....tim
