I currently have a 1993 Mustang LX with a few modifications. One of which is a 4.30:1 differential gear-set. I also have an AOD transmission with the stock(3.27:1)VSS gear installed. The rear tire diameter is twenty-seven inches. BTW, I also installed a 140 mph speedometer from a 1990 LX to keep the needle from pegging everytime I drive the car.

I would like to have my speedometer read correctly and I was wondering if there were any manufacturers making a gear(s) that would work in my application. The gear-set came from a Ford van with a C6(completely stock vehicle). Is it possible to take the gears from another C6?

You could try the ford dealer, brothers performance and late model restorations. You really need to know how many teeth are / or were on the C-6 trans gear inside the trans and on the speed sensor. Hope this helps...

Once you know how many drive teeth there are

http://www.transmissioncenter.net/speedometer_calibration_______va.htm#ford

They have just about every driven gear imaginable, and a link to a calculator to help figure out which one you need.

Thank you all. I didn't expect the gears from the C6 to work.
