I'm hoping to have the head castings tomorrow or the next day. The only problem is this has been going on for a year now. I'm sure everyone knows the deal, just tell the person what they want to hear to hold them off longer.

Well still no heads, its always tomorrow or next week. I have $6000.00 worth of engine block that is worthless. I have officially given up after waiting over 1 year for the heads.  The chassis will get finished, then I'll deal with the engine fiasco.  Some people have been a help, others I just don't know how to explain it.

How much power would one of these make NA?

What is the deal with the heads; the castings or building them?

Well the E-460 heads are a no go. I can't get them,  they are only available to professional NHRA prostock racers.  I will be using a different head, maybe a entire different setup.

That's a bummer Bill...   I had been anticipating the outcome of those heads after you had them worked.

That is a shame. I was following with baited breath to see the numbers this combo would put down.  Dissapointed

Big block chevy.

I'm glad things are working out for the build Billy.  Those heads are supposed to be something from the very little I know.  This thing will open some eyes I'm sure! Smiley

Well looks like plan A is a go............I hope. Plan B would still be Ford based shortdeck, but all aftermarket including block and heads.  Whistling Plan B may still happen as a developement engine.
