and one question if you dont mind me asiking, what are the tricks to get a big block uinder the hood of a fox ..so a normal 4-5 inch hood clears? always been in the back of my head about going to a big block...

EFI. I hope to get away with 4-5 cowl hood with the 9.400 deck height. The Big Block Ford is 10.200-10.300 deck height, the Big Chevy is 9.800. For comparison the 351W is 9.500.

There are a few smallblocks that run right with the big blocks. I just went with the big block for durability reasons.

There are a few smallblocks that run right with the big blocks. I just went with the big block for durability reasons.

I can certainly understand the durability reasons.
