Well the NHRA pro-stock block is almost machined. The deck is going to end up at 9.400 with 60mm roller cam bearings. Bore is 4.600 while the Callies crankshaft came in at 3.750 stroke. Heads are the E-460's fed by a slightly modified single 4 barrel intake. Hope to have some pictures in a few weeks.

I should tell people its still a 351W, it won't look much different from a distance except for the taller heads.

Its for outlaw dragradial, the class allows more than just a smallblock.

It's a little clearer now Billy... but I'm still stuck on the "over" 500ci qualifies an outlaw.
So the difference here is in "drag radial" and big or small block up to 500ci?

You can run any c.i.d you want basically. I choose the "NHRA" style short deck- short stroke- big bore big block to move the power up in the rpm band to help traction with the 315/60/15 drag radials. It will have less brute torque than 565/598/604/632 monsters. It will also have the Procharger F3R. The blower will basically dictate the horsepower, I'm just choosing where in the rpm band it will happen. It will see shift points of 8800-9600 rpms.

So a shorter stroke and more rpm. Sounds like you're going to tick some big motors off when you beat them. You ready to hear some complaining?
