I have to agree with all of you, that is awsome!! and I wish mine could do that, you think he'd give me the specs he built it to say as in homage to hus groundbreaking work.  A guy can dream.

Awesome car! One question though. Does anyone know how he drives it on the street with that lenco and racing clutch? I thought you couldn't drive those type clutches on the street without adjusting the pressure plate? Maybe I just answered my own question! Super cool car though.

He'sa running an ST1200, it is a streetable lenco...

That looks like a helluva trans! What kind of clutch would he use for dual duty like that?

For $5,950.00 you get a 5 speed with reverse and shifters included. No bell or clutch. You could get a 4 speed for $4,950.00  I didn't realize it but with these transmissions you get no engine braking. As soon as you let off the gas it free wheels.

Driving with a Lenco would be awesome. talk about 'grabbing' gears.  4 Eyed

I was curious how he just pushed all the levers forward after one run and was still rolling. He must not of had his foot on the gas, so it would be the same as neutral.

Do they even use like a regular left foot pedal clutch? Didnt even see his leg move when he was grabbing levers.

So when is the clutch pedal used on these things?

If letting off the gas is basically neutral... Maybe just to put it in gear from a stop when it's running or something? Or do they not even use a pedal....

Just taking off and putting it into 1st or reverse you would need the clutch.
