the two blocks that i was looking at e7te roller block vs e6seba non roller     both blocks measured deck to lifter bore FLATS1.870 , lifter bore lenght 1.685.      dug under the work bench and pulled out another block c8an      I SAID THE BLIND MAN !!!!!!!!!this is a hole different animal, deck to lifter bore 2.080 lifter bore lenght 1.480       now i see why link bar lifters are needed!!!!!!!l

AFAIK..... all E5+ blocks are "roller ready" blocks.... even though they might have had FT lifters installed at the production line.

good question. the block on the left painted gray, i cleaned around the drain holes including the front one going in to the timing case.      what i was wondering? for a all out race motor do you plug the holes, and drain only  front and back.  this way keeping the oil off the cam and crank?
